Art at home

Having visited about a dozen museums and galleries throughout Europe over the past year, we’ve had the opportunity to see lots of great art up close. Who knew that Vancouver occasionally gets such art too? We went to the Monet to Dalà exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery tonight and we were very impressed! Great selection of big name art, well organized to reflect the overall theme of the exhibit and good explanatory panels. Hurry though – it’s on for only one more week (ends Sep 16). It’s a bit pricey (just over $18 for adult admission) so try to find a 2-for-1 coupon if you can.
