Guess what came in the mail today! Yes, it’s our subscriber package for the 2007/2008 Vancouver Symphony Orchestra season. We are going to the VSO Pops series of 6 concerts as well as the Colin James concert, for the very reasonable price of $280 total. We went to one of their concerts a couple of years ago with Sam & Surina and had a great time. The conductor was very charismatic and personable, and he made the music much more approachable than we expected. The series we chose runs about once a month between October and April on Friday evenings, so that is a manageable schedule for us.
