Banks are screwy over here …

BBC News reports today that Lloyds bank (where Ian has his bank account) , is introducing a £35 annual fee for their credit cards, but only for those customers who do not use their cards enough. About 50,000 people were sent a letter informing them of this charge, which will come into effect in 30 days. It’s unclear how Lloyds defines “low usage” and whether this new policy will be stretched to affect customers who pay off their full balance every month (BBC News claims that 59% of customers do so). Such money-grabbers!
