Things you just can’t find in Scotland

- flour or sugar in bags larger than 1.5 kg, eggnog, corn syrup or corn starch
- current seasons of my favourite TV shows (24, Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, House, etc.), hockey games on TV
- plastic recycling (those #1, 2, 4 and 5 containers just go into the trash here) and a deposit system for cans/bottles
- trees, mountains and
snow(it snowed for about 10 minutes last night!) - Gamecube games (very rarely found in a clearance bin at the very back of some of the game stores, and usually way over-priced … seems that only Playstations and Xboxes sell here)
- last but not least, friends and family =(
