Over-planner is my middle name

The wedding planning is coming along well! Thanks to my parents who have been writing cheques like mad for various deposits we have to pay, we now have settled the major things like venues, catering, officiant and photographer. It’s great to have that done, and now the planning will slow down a bit until we get back to Vancouver. It’s been fun to snoop on other people’s weddings through Weddingbells, and also through various photographers’ websites featuring wedding photos of people we know.
The one big thing we still haven’t done is ask our friends to be a part of our wedding party … but I think we’ll wait to do that until we can have an engagement party in Vancouver in August, and we can ask in person. We’ve started a wedsite too, but it doesn’t have too much content quite yet.
