Movie watchin’

So far in Edinburgh, I’ve watched two movies at two different movie theatres, both smaller independent ones. The Cameo was tiny, forcing me to keep moving down the row as more and more people filed in almost half an hour after I had arrived (the ads here run longer than in Vancouver!). The Filmhouse was larger and emptier, but lacked the essential movie watching food: popcorn! I asked, and apparently they “don’t believe in it.”
Both theatres have bars instead, and at the Cameo you can bring your beer in. Both have student discounts, which is great for my wallet.
Now that the TV and DVD player have arrived and been installed, I’m looking forward to enjoying more movies from LOVEFiLM. I have 57 titles queued to be mailed, and I can have up to 2 DVDs out at a time, with unlimited monthly rentals. Any suggestions for good movies to rent?
