I was having trouble finding a decent and affordable flight, but TravelCuts came through this afternoon with a one-way ticket via JFK and DUB for a little over $600. I’ll be in Edinburgh on September 13th, and school starts on the 19th. This trip is becoming more real every day!

My references passed muster and we have secured a furnished flat from Sep 1 – July 30! The landlady seems excellent, and coincidentally her daughter is coming on exchange to UBC in September.
